Suspicious envelope with white powder sent to Clinton campaign in New York

On Friday, the 11th floor of the Clinton campaign’s Brooklyn office was evacuated after two interns opened a suspicious package containing a white powder. The envelope was delivered to their Manhattan office but was later transferred to the Brooklyn office.

The NYPD confirmed to ABC News that two interns discovered the suspicious substance in an envelope at 5:30 p.m. in Clinton’s Manhattan office. The interns then brought the letter to the 11th floor of the campaign’s 80,000-square-foot Brooklyn headquarters, located in the borough’s Brooklyn Heights neighborhood.- ABC News

Overall, four people were exposed to the envelope and powder. NYPD is still investigating the incident but has already determined the white powder as being non-hazardous. According to CNN, the U.S. Secret Service and the Office of Emergency Management are also involved. Hillary Clinton was not present during the incident.
