The Pic of the Day: Best Warrior Competition

SFC Alex, a member of 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and finalist for U.S. Army Special Operations Command Best Warrior Competition, completes an Army Combat Fitness Test, a 12-mile foot march and a rifle qualification with his special forces group. Alex is competing against twenty-one of the Army’s top Soldiers and Noncommissioned Officers who are conducting their events at locations across the world for this year’s U.S. Army 2020 Best Warrior Competition.

The finalists, 11 Soldiers and 11 NCOs, who have proven themselves during subordinate competitions throughout the year and now compete for the titles Soldier of the Year and Noncommissioned Officer of the Year.

Overseen by Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael Grinston, the 2020 competition will be like no other in Best Warrior’s 19-year history.
