Last weekend saw a lot good news about the current status and future of the F-35 in the international market.
Belgium has shown interest in purchasing 34 F-35s from Lockheed Martin, potentially adding another European nation to the list of operators.
Japan announced that it deploy its F-35s at Misawa Air Base in Aomori Prefecture later this month, and India may puchase the F-35 as well.
Based on latest news, it may have been a good weekend for the F-35.
The U.S. State Department issued a statement late Friday confirming it has approved the possible sale of 34 Lockheed F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighters to Belgium.
