In the following video I take some time to flesh out some of the major pros and cons of mounting a red dot to a pistol. Mounting red dots on pistols is nothing new, however in the last 10 or so years they have begun to find themselves on duty guns. As this trend increases it’s important that as a professional / conceal carry / competition shooter that you take a hard look at whether or not it would benefit your particular needs.
