Watch: SEAL Team One in Vietnam

Recently coming across this vintage film of Navy SEALs in Vietnam, I thought I would share it with everyone on SOFREP.  The national archives describes it as:

This film shows Navy SEALs in action in the jungles of Long Phu, Vietnam. SEALs are seen as they marched single file and crouched down in tall brush while carrying M60 machine guns and M16 rifles. A group of SEALs is shown as they disembarked from a boat and moved into the jungle, and a radioman (RM) is seen as he talked on a radio. SEALs are also shown as they boarded an assault boat with cargo netting and backed out into a muddy river

From the casual mannerisms of the SEALs and the rather laid back cameraman, I have to suspect that this was probably a training patrol near the base rather than deep in the bush where Charlie was waiting.  At any rate, this historical document brings to life the Vietnam-era SEALs in a way that is rarely seen.
