Fidel Castro may have died but communism in Cuba has not. While his passing is significant and symbolic, his legacy will remain until the system that he helped create is revised or replaced. He stepped down in 2006 due to his poor health and his brother Raul took over. Now with Fidel Castro gone, Raul may have more freedom to make necessary reforms. Cuban Americans have celebrated this weekend, not just for his death but because they have hope for the future of Cuba. However, some still feel that little will change as long as Raul is still in power.
