Earlier today there was an explosion in New York City that according to Mayor De Blasio was an intentional act.
29 people are injured, and officials believe it to be an ‘intentional act.’ Many of those injured have been hospitalized. The explosion took place in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City.

The specifications and lethality of the device are yet to be determined. Federal and local law enforcement officials are on site. The NYPD bomb squad are likely to be on site and investigating the device.
