Five Test and Development A350-900s in Flight

Five test and development A350-900s took to the skies for a formation flight in September 2014, in Toulouse, France. The event brought together all of the aircraft used for Airbus’ successful campaign leading to certification of this state-of-the-art widebody.

I found this particular video to be pretty spectacular, honestly. There’s no denying the passion and magnificence of flying airplanes, whether it be something sexy and lethal like the F-22, or what would normally be considered too cumbersome to have any degree of real performance. As aircraft like the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III and this Airbus A350 have proven, it doesn’t have to be a fighter to take someone’s breath away.
