JetBlue Aircraft Slides Off Runway in Boston “Sliding and Spinning”

A JetBlue aircraft skidded off the runway after it landed at Boston’s Logan Airport Monday.

Officials say JetBlue Flight 50 from Savannah, Ga., briefly skidded when it landed around 7:15 p.m. Monday. Firefighters helped passengers off of the plane and they were bused to the terminal.

A JetBlue aircraft skidded off the runway after it landed at Boston’s Logan Airport Monday.

Officials say JetBlue Flight 50 from Savannah, Ga., briefly skidded when it landed around 7:15 p.m. Monday. Firefighters helped passengers off of the plane and they were bused to the terminal.

“We were straight and all of a sudden we started fishtailing. And, yeah, it started getting rough,” Flight 50 passenger Steve Chisholm of South Carolina said to WCVB TV of Boston.

“Coming down the runway and all of a sudden we started sliding and spinning and spinning and spinning. And ended up in a snowbank,” Jerry Hokansan, another Flight 50 passenger, added to WCVB. – USA Today
