On the final business day of the Paris Air Show, Boeing emerged the clear winner over rival Airbus, thanks largely to sales of the 737 MAX.

After discounts it is being reported that Boeing’s actually sales volume in dollars from the show was probably about $35 billion compared to Airbus’s actual of around $17 billion. It should be noted that air show ‘commitments’ to purchase don’t always end up in an actual sale.
