Driver runs over pedestrians in Melbourne, at least three confirmed dead

Melbourne, Australia – Police arrested a man after he struck over 20 pedestrians with his car, killing at least three of them. Witnesses stated the man was driving erratically on the sidewalk as he drove into the crowd. The identity of the driver has not been released by police yet. During a press conference (see the video below), the Victoria Police stated they do not believe this was an act of terrorism but the man did drive into the crowd deliberately.
