During this SOFREP exclusive interview, former Navy SEAL Eric Davis reveals his second book, titled “Habits of Heroes.” Eric explains his interest in animal behavior studies and behavior change, and how they are now being applied to humans. Eric suggests that humans have an underlying design and overall purpose, and when we live outside of that purpose we can develop destructive behavior.

If you look at the habits of a group of people, such as people who we recognize as “heroes,” those who, for the most part, feel like their lives are fulfilled and are serving the purpose for which they were created, they don’t have poor coping mechanisms or destructive habits.
