New York, New York- In the video below, you can see an unidentified man being arrested after running into several pedestrians and then a light pole in Times Square. At least 1 person was reported to have been killed and 10 people were injured in the incident so far.
The smoking vehicle, a maroon Honda, was wedged up against a pole on the sidewalk. Photos show pedestrians lying in the street, and one person covered with a white sheet on the sidewalk.” – NY Post
One witness stated that the vehicle appeared to accelerate before hitting the pedestrians on the sidewalk. NYPD said the incident does not appear to be related to terrorism at this time. They identified the driver as being an intoxicated 26-year-old male with two previous DWIs.
