A Force Reconnaissance Marine with Maritime Raid Force, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, provides security in Guam, January 26, 2018, during Visit Board Search and Seizure training. VBSS teaches Marines how to take over ships for searches and counter-piracy operations. As the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, the 31st MEU provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide range of military operations.
