During Exercise KAMANDAG 2, U.S. Marines trained and learned with Philippine Marines, strengthening both forces’ tactical skills and knowledge of warfighting. Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, is the Ground Combat Element for the 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward deployed MEU.
