The Pic of the Day: Rangers getting second place? Ha, good one!

Team from the 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Ga., kneels out of range after connecting an ammunition package to a UH-60 Black Hawk for sling load Sept. 11 during the Army Ammunition Transfer Holding Point Team of the Year competition at Fort Pickett, Va. Teams prepared munitions for transport by configuring, inspecting, and ensuring the safety and compatibility of loads. Teams also established a field ATHP within a support area to provide ammunition resupply operations and defended the ATHP. ATHP started Sept. 9 and ran through Sept. 13. Teams of five Soldiers, from 75th Ranger Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, and 1st Cavalry Division, were assessed on ATHP operations and associated tasks that facilitate the receipt and transfer of ammunition.
