“Doc” was one of 1,644 B-29’s manufactured in Wichita, Kansas during World War II.  This particular B-29 rolled off the assembly line in 1945. In 1951, the Superfortress became a part of the Seven Dwarfs squadron, received the name Doc and worked on a radar calibration assignment.  Doc” is now the second flying B-29 Superfortress, along with Fifi, which is maintained and flown by the Commemorative Air Force.
