Watch: Navy SEAL turned Media CEO Brandon Webb talk about the death of mainstream news media and rise of small independent outlets

On today’s Facebook live broadcast, Brandon Webb (former Navy SEAL and Force 12 Media CEO) talks about transitioning out of the Navy and into civilian life. He describes the excitement of starting to fulfill his dream of entrepreneurship, only to see it lost due to several roadblocks. Brandon also discusses how SOFREP was created and why he made it his mission to not fall into the same trap as mainstream media. SOFREP is primarily supported by its subscription base due to this reason, as he does not want advertisers hindering what gets published. This is a great video for all of our newer SOFREP readers that are not familiar with how SOFREP was created.
