With the release of more footage of yesterday’s police-related shooting in California, we see things from a different angle. Now that nearly everyone on the street has a phone capable of filming, it is inevitable that multiple perspectives of any newsworthy event will arise. This new video shows the build-up, and gives the viewer more context.
Obviously, the footage from all angles still only tells a part of the overall story. Authorities will also access witness and officer testimony, as well as any physical evidence from the scene.
With the added bonus of bystanders standing by and filming everything, we also have a lack of intervention. For better, or for worse.
