Davis talks about how he was a young, freckle-faced, red-haired kid with no particular inclination toward sports or special forces. Then he discovered the works of legendary SEAL and founder of SEAL Team Six Dick Marcinko. Eric says he read all of Marcinko’s books when he was younger, and they encouraged him that he, too, if he worked hard enough and didn’t quit, could become a Navy SEAL.
He did, and the rest is history.
