It’s not secret that I’m a fan of Walther firearms.  Ever since I first picked up the P99AS I felt like Walther had somehow taken a mold of my hand.  The ergonomics are incredible.  Personally, I wish the paddle magazine releases would return, but I understand that Americans like buttons.  The PPS M2 is one of my daily carry guns and Q5 Match is my favorite stunt gun.  I call it a stunt gun because it’s just so absurdly accurate and easy to shoot.  If you don’t believe me watch the short demonstration below with Erika behind the trigger.

On to the Q4 TAC.  Walther heard the requests for a more duty-sized 4″ gun with the same easy optics mounting system that the Q5 Match has.  The people also wanted a threaded barrel and Walther listened.  Enter the Q4 TAC; a PPQ in a more tactical build.  Optics mounting is easy thanks to the three included plates which cover the gamut of popular optics.

We’ll get this out to the range soon.  I expect to be impressed.  For those of you who love the numbers the below image was taken directly from Walther’s product page.
