Slap a new label on the Pentagon and call it what you want—war by any other name still smells like cordite and tears.

When change becomes policy, slogans get recycled and bureaucracy slaps on fresh paint. “Department of War” has a certain throwback charm—clean, simple, no false advertising. It beats the hell out of a long-winded tantrum carved in stone.

In our ever-evolving America, the brass nod politely, the politicians grin, and the wrecking ball keeps swinging in the name of progress.

Rename it, reframe it, hang a new sign—but the machine hums along, grinding through the airwaves while selling us on the upgrade.

Mad as Hell?

How many of you are old enough to remember the 1976 movie “Network”?

I was only about 9 or 10 at the time it came out, so I was introduced to the film much later, but once you watch it, you never forget this signature line.
