A U.S. Apache helicopter, assigned to the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, fires rockets during the Wojtek Fire live-fire exercise in support of NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group-Poland in Bemowo Piskie, Poland, Sept. 16, 2020. The live-fire exercise coordinated assets from the U.K., Croatia and the U.S., including Soldiers from the 2d Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment. NATO’s eFP BG-P consists of four battalion-sized battle groups deploying on a persistent rotational basis to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to demonstrate the alliance’s determination and ability to act as one in response to any aggression against its members.
