Call your congressman, engage policy makers, you might improve a program

To me, foreign policy is the de facto charter of a modern president. Foreign policy ultimately affects our economy and our people in the long run to a greater extent than domestic policy, which can be amended. Fractured relationships and loss of influence cannot be altered over a congressional year.

Congress doesn’t pay, but it needs more veterans

Military people are passionate people, and SOF is very much so and aggressive. In my limited experience, but with open eyes, D.C. needs people who have life experience and understand service. A cultural problem on the Hill is that some who serve there believe that their service supersedes others.
