US Seeks to Double Long-range Anti-ship Missile Arsenal

The Pentagon is increasing production of Long-Range Anti-Ship Missiles and Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles due to their strategic significance in war simulations, particularly in the event of a Chinese invasion of the Taiwan Strait, and Lockheed Martin plans to double production to well over a thousand combined LRASM and JASSM missiles.
