I spent almost a year living in Zurich and was shocked at the level of efficiency and visible tax dollars at work within Switzerland. Most countries could learn a thing from the Swiss on how to effectively disperse and manage taxes.

It was the first time in my life that I lived in a country where I would have been happy to pay my taxes, knowing they would go to good use.

Everything just works: healthcare, college, great food, transportation, and more.

We all know this is not the case in America, where Big Gulps are turning our youth into diabetic zombies, and we use credit like a fentanyl addict on government welfare.

Now, the battle against the bloated underbelly of American government waste that siphons our hard-earned taxpayer dollars into the abyss of inefficiency.  And it’s about F’ng time we take a scalpel to this bureaucratic flab, and as expected, the entrenched political and lobbying hogs are squealing.

The Department of Government Efficiency: A Necessary Offensive

Enter the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), spearheaded by none other than Elon Musk. The guy doesn’t need any more money and single-handedly put America back in the space race. Now, he’s volunteered, much to his own detriment,  to take on the mission of identifying and eliminating wasteful government spending. DOGE has already uncovered some staggering examples of fiscal irresponsibility.

How many thousands over the age of 100 were still collecting Social Security?

The Pentagon’s Financial Fiasco

Consider the Department of Defense (DoD), an institution that should epitomize precision. A 2015 internal audit revealed a jaw-dropping $125 billion in bureaucratic waste over five years. Instead of addressing the issue, senior officials reportedly buried the report to avoid political fallout. Fast forward to 2022, and the DoD failed its fifth consecutive audit, unable to account for more than 60% of its $3.5 trillion in assets. This isn’t just a rounding error; it’s a systemic failure that undermines our military’s effectiveness and our nation’s financial integrity.
