Europe’s Lack of Military Muscle: A Numbers Game They’re Losing
Here’s the raw data:
United States: ~1.3 million active-duty troops, and around 811,000 reservists.
Russia: ~1.15 million active, with a war-ready 2 million+ in reserves, many of whom Putin is actively, and very publicly, mobilizing as we speak.
United Kingdom: A mere 76,000 regular soldiers. That’s not a typo. That’s a half-empty Wembley Stadium.
France: ~203,000.
