SOFREP wlll be in Las Vegas Nevada from January 17th to the 22nd to attend SHOT Show 2022.  Billed as the largest professional event for sport shooting, hunting, and the outdoor industry, it is back after a two year pause due to COVID-19.  This year they expect the largest crowd ever with more than 2,400 exhibitors, and expect something on the order of 43,000 attendees.

SHOT Show is closed to the general public as it is a convention that brings manufacturers and wholesale buyers together to strike deals over whiskey and poker chips.  SOFREP staff writer Matt Hill and I will be attending and I’m already busy and I haven’t even left for Las Vegas yet.

We will be bringing, you the latest news on the newest gear for personal, hunting, self-defense, and law enforcement use and we have some surprised guests lined up for the SOFREP Radio Podcast.  We are very happy to see this show on track as it reflects the health of the shooting sports industry in general.  Watch our social media pages on Instagram and Twitter for updates and videos and we’ll do the more in-depth stuff here on these pages for you.

This year, the New Product Center will be the place where New Product Center is moving to Caesars Forum. We’ll be able to see first-hand the latest innovations and smartest products coming to market this year.  There is no way we can cover 2,400 exhibitors in just a couple of days, but we will bring you the best of SHOT SHOw 2022 as long as we can keep our legs under us.
