Shadow McClaine was last heard from when she texted her mother Sept. 2 to say she was driving. She did not report for duty Sept. 6. Her family, friends and authorities have been looking for her since then without success.
But two men have been booked into the Montgomery County Jail, although the Army has not said what they may be charged with or why they are being held. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Sandra Brandon directed questions to the Army.

According to an Army statement released Wednesday, “two soldiers are currently being held as persons of interest in the disappearance of PFC Shadow McClaine. Fort Campbell law enforcement continue to investigate the matter. No further details are available at this time.”
