One of the easy upgrades for Generation 3 Glocks is to replace the plastic guide rod with something heavier like steel. You can reduce felt recoil and increase the life of your guide rod with a Stainless Steel Guide Rod. It’s more than twice the weight of the factory plastic rod and stronger.
The heavy guide rod shifts the center of balance forward reducing muzzle rise. This is especially helpful with .40 caliber guns.
