1. Why did you join the Military and The U.S. Navy SEALs?  A: I immigrated to the U.S. when I was very young, when I saw the twin towers come crashing down on September 11th I knew I wanted to join.  I wanted to serve my country as a US Navy SEAL because I’ve always had a love of the ocean and they’re one of the finest fighting forces in the world.  Also, this country has given my family a new start and by serving it was my chance to give back.  I have no regrets and would do it all over again.

2. What Memorial Day message do you have for ordinary citizens who want to know what this day means to the Warfighter? A: This is a day of reflection for those that served who gave all. Don’t feel sorry for the fallen, honor their memory by asking yourself what you can do to be a better citizen of this great country we live in. Think about your civic duty and how we can all make the United States a better place.

3. Would you get in that helicopter again knowing that in hindsight it was going to crash?

A: Yes. I have three words for you.  Honor, Courage and Commitment.  Everyone onboard that CH-47 helicopter would have done the same all over again.  When the call comes in you go. Period.  I died doing a job I loved doing and serving along side my fellow warriors.  Few people can say this, so remember this and what I previously said about honoring the fallen and please let my family know I love them very much and think about them often.
