The have been reports from passengers and police that shots have been fired at the Ft. Lauderdale airport. NBC news reported nine injured, one dead, and the shooter is now in police custody. The shooting reportedly took place between terminal 2 and 3. More information to follow as this story is still developing.

Update 1:37 pm EST– At least 5 people have been reported dead and 12 people wounded.
