It wasn’t all about covert nighttime operations and kicking in doors. Here, we see US Army Ranger and Delta Force Operator Clay Othic with two stray puppies he found outside of Baghdad, Iraq. This must have been sometime around 2005-2006. And yes, although rare, they did have quad nods that early on.

The pups went on to become mascots for The Unit.
