I’m so tempted to write that Geo is lending a “helping hand” here, but that would be way too easy, so I won’t do it.

What I will say is that this is a pic of Geo while he was still in the Unit. He’s pointing the way to a prospective Delta candidate, map at the ready.  He’s always ready to help someone out…that’s what teamwork is all about.

As an aside, I look at this picture with great nostalgia as it is just about the most mid to late-80s Army picture ever.  Those pickups with the plastic-y olive drap tarps were everywhere, and gallons of Army coffee or bright red “bug juice” were consumed from the omnipresent white styrofoam cups.
