In this final part of the interview, Dick does not go out on a note of hope and optimism.  He predicts that it is just a matter of time before terrorists figure out how to smuggle a Dirty-Bomb into the United States and set it off.  He imagines that the future of terrorism is economic warfare, attacking our economy, energy supply, and even our water supply.

He faults our political leadership for thinking that America can take any hit and bounce back when what is really needed is the recognition that this is a huge country that is very hard to defend, and that the best defense is a strong offense.
