The Green Berets are seen wearing the Tiger Stripes camouflage pattern uniform. The Tiger Stripes was worn and popularized by Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols (LRRP) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) during the Vietnam War. More recently, a desert variant of the Tiger Stripes has been worn by SOF and paramilitary units in Afghanistan.
