Former Navy SEAL Eric Davis talks about his favorite chapter from his new book, “Raising Men: Lessons Navy SEALs Learned from Their Training and Taught to Their Sons.” The chapter titled “Lead from the Front” is not meant to be a cliche phrase, as Eric points out in the video, but is instead intended to say to fathers, “Live a fulfilling life that brings you happiness so you can lead and guide your sons in life. Give yourself permission to enjoy life and not just be the provider. Live the life that you want your sons to live.” You can read a portion of this chapter in this book excerpt.
