Argentina, South Atlantic–The search-and-rescue team searching for the missing Argentine submarine faces rough seas.
The South Atlantic is infamous for its rough seas. Ships can literally be submerged by towering waves. And gales often reach storm-force levels.
The search for the ARA San Juan is focused on 250-mile radius in southern Argentina.
Hopefully, the international rescue force will be able to tame seas in time and find the missing submarine.
