Last week we talked about a woman’s best friend being one of the safest tools in the box for woman looking at an edge when it comes to self-defense. This week we look at the “What if” scenario. What if you are on a train and someone pulls a gun? Are you going to stand by and take it? Not likely to happen if you’re in Israel with their citizen Army. Hell, it’s not uncommon to see a 21 year-old female rocking an assault rifle in downtown Tel Aviv.
When we trained in close quarter battle in the SEAL Teams, we often did draw down drills. A person 10 feet away would attempt to draw their weapon as the other person ran towards them. Conclusion: 9 out of 10 attempts the person could not draw their weapon and get a shot off before they were engaged in hand-to-hand combat. You can close ground pretty damn fast if need be. Faster with adrenaline pumping.
So what will you do ladies? Stand by and let some dirt bag get the better of you and your friends and become another statistic? Or fight back? SOFREP says give ’em hell and take the fight to them (if it makes sense).
