Jack Murphy in studio this episode sitting down with two fellow Army Rangers, Marty Skovlund, who many of you know, and for the first time on the show, Matt Sanders. Matt, who works with Marty over at Blackside Concepts, is a Purple Heart recipient and served with Jack in combat.

Matt talks about a film he’s working on with Marty aiming for a release on Veteran’s Day. Matt also helped to document Marty and Leo Jenkins’ nomadic veterans journey to raise money for GallantFew last year. The guys are planning on doing a second one this year representing all branches of Special Operations, and this time around Jack Murphy will be teaming up with fellow SOFREP writer Derek Gannon to represent Special Forces. Each team will have their own charity they’re backing; the SEALs, for example, will be doing this for The Red Circle Foundation.

We discuss how the guys feel about the recent success of Nick Irving, Jack and Matt get into some combat stories, and I get the boys’ takes on the recent talk of an alliance between ISIS and Boko Haram.
