U.S.-Russian diplomacy set to fail in Syria, leaving only war.

Don’t poke the bear. The Russians predictably will go the course in Syria. The U.S. is getting close to shutting the current diplomatic process as battles in Aleppo rage onward. “U.S. officials say they are considering tougher responses to the Russian-backed Syrian government assault, including military options, although they have described the range of possible responses […]

Kurds won’t have friends as ISIL fades to the background

The Kurds ought to be our focus in the Middle East. They’re legitimately our friends. At this point, it’s clear we don’t know the Middle East better than Middle Easterners. But, we do know who has performed and helped us in the past. We ought to give the Kurds some measure of solidarity, because once […]

China humiliates America at G20

This time the G20 was different. Intentionally so. The Chinese had prepared it and planned it to be so.  Yet, as always, with the G20 meetings, there was little that is tangible to show for it all. No big solutions. No ‘in the margins’ progress on Syria, Ukraine, Yemen, or on a supposed ploy to manage […]

The Black Market aiding and abetting fundamentalists

The Black Market is a global norm; it exists, and it’s tentacles attach to every nation and land. It prospers from the fact people want illegal things. If you’re curious how strong anti-U.S. sentiment is around the world, look no further than ISIS and Al-Qaeda. Funding comes in subtle and not-so-subtle ways through the Black Market. […]

My high school football coach may as well be in charge of foreign policy

He was an idiot. As a result, we sucked. We scheduled a game with some prison school for homecoming, because that’s how unsure of victory we were. It was the worst. Much of our weakness as a team had to do with flawed planning and stupidity at the helm. I think there are very enlightened and […]

Watch: Attack on a UN convoy near Aleppo, Syria and the many outlying factors of chaos

What’s the big deal? Didn’t we just bomb them and killed 80 government troops?

The “big deal” is that this was an aid convoy being run by 2 NGOs that would have fed 78,000 people. The Red Crescent/Cross is a non-combatant international humanitarian organization, not an army.

The UN is also a non-combatant who had a clearly marked the area for humanitarian aid on radar, which is where the convoy was located. It’s more realistic that there was a friendly fire incident against the SAA than someone accidently bombing a UN facility.

Director of Syria’s Red Crescent and everyone in the aid convoy has been suspected to have been killed. As a result, Assad also declared the end to the cease-fire.

WATCH: ISIS Imprisoned ‘Russian Intelligence Officer’ delivers message to Russia

A new video purportedly released by Daesh, or the so-called Islamic State alleges to show a Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) agent asking for help to be freed from Daesh. The video was released on Daesh terrorist channels on September 20.

It is stated to have been filmed in “Wilayat al-Furat”, an Daesh-occupied area on the Euphrates River that is part of Syria. “al-Furat” is Arabic for “Euphrates.”

Russia ‘to revive the KGB’ after Vladimir Putin wins biggest majority

Russia plans effectively to revive the KGB under a massive shake-up of its security forces, a respected business daily has reported. A State Security Ministry, or MGB, would be created from the current Federal Security Service (FSB) , and would incorporate the foreign intelligence service (SVR) and the state guard service (FSO), under the plans. It […]

U.S. Officials Say Russia Probably Attacked U.N. Humanitarian Convoy

Russia was probably responsible for the deadly bombing of a United Nations humanitarian aid convoy in Syria, American officials said Tuesday, further shredding what remained of a severely weakened agreement between the United States and Russia aimed at halting the war. Aghast at the attack on Monday night, United Nations officials on Tuesday suspended all aid convoys in Syria, […]

Russia’s 9/11 and the art of the false flag

“Our 9/11.” That’s what some Russians were (and still are) calling the September (9, 13, and 16) 1999 bombings of four apartment buildings that left close to 300 dead, more than 1,000 injured, and became the spark that reignited a brutal war with repercussions that have lasted to this day. Soon after the attacks, a device similar […]

The Sino-Angolan Economic Relationship

“China needs natural resources and Angola needs development.” (1) The words of President dos Santos, Angola’s dictator, perfectly describe the Sino-Angolan economic relationship. China’s economic involvement in Angola is multifaceted. Loans, trade agreements, and investment ventures are all being used in an effort to secure more oil concessions, and the vehicle of choice has been her numerous state-owned […]
