Passengers aboard British Airways Flight 492 were in for a bumpy ride on Monday, as their flight was forced to divert from its scheduled course due to strong winds. The flight from London Heathrow airport was intended to land in Gibraltar, but powerful gusts of wind made the approach too dangerous, prompting the pilots to head to Malaga in nearby Spain, instead.

No injuries were reported during the incident, but footage captured inside the aircraft shows what was certain to be a frightening experience for the more than 100 passengers on board.

“At no point was there a risk to safety,” read a statement from the airline. “The safety of our customers and crew is always out number one priority.”

Passengers disembarked the aircraft in Spain and were given travel accommodations by the airline to get back to their destinations in Gibraltar.
