Update 1:30 pm: The Brewster County Sheriff’s office reported the shooter has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Two people were injured in the incident, one person was shot by the active shooter and a police officer was accidentally shot by a marshall. The conditions of the two injured people is unknown at this time.
An active shooter has been reported at the high school in Alpine, Texas. The Brewster County Sheriff’s office reported one person has been shot and possibly killed. Two possible shooters may still be in the area. More to follow as this story is still developing.
