In the video below, Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. Neller directly addresses social media behavior following the Marines United nude photo scandal. He not only calls out the individuals involved but also the NCOs and officers in the chain of command. “When I hear allegations of Marines denigrating their fellow Marines, I don’t think such behavior is that of true warriors or warfighters,” Gen. Neller said sternly in the video. Some women have already spoken out about their images being posted online without their permission and Gen. Neller urges anyone who feels violated or victimized to seek help through their chain of command or chaplain.  Bottomline, Gen. Neller questions those involved and those that support this type of behavior on social media whether or not they want to consider themselves Marines, “Do you really want to be a Marine?”
