Most parents want to give their children the confidence and life skills needed to tackle problems they might encounter in life. Eric Davis, former Navy SEAL and author of “Raising Men: Lessons Navy SEALs Learned from Their Training and Taught to Their Sons,” took the SEAL Pups concept from his time in Coronado and recreated it to pass on some lessons learned from Navy SEAL training to his kids. He wants to take SEAL Pups and make it similar to the Boy or Girl Scouts; not necessarily the same size, but the same program capacity.
