Author and retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Dan Hampton joins us for the second time as he discusses Vietnam-era aviators with Jack Murphy. It’s the topic of Dan’s latest book, “The Hunter Killers: The Extraordinary Story of the First Wild Weasels, the Band of Maverick Aviators Who Flew the Most Dangerous Missions of the Vietnam War.” Dan served as an F-16 pilot and has flown over 150 combat missions. It’s always an honor to speak with him.
Jack gets into China’s hack of the United States government, which resulted in the resigning of United States Office of Personnel Management Director Katherine Archuleta. You can read more about that in Jack’s latest piece, “Step Into My Office Because You’re…Fired!: Gov Records Boss Gets the Can.”
We also talk border security, and answer some of your e-mails (sent to [email protected]). Please leave a review of the show on iTunes; it helps us each week. We appreciate your continued support.
