In this episode of SOFREP Radio, journalist and Marine Veteran Alex Hollings sits down with U.S. Air Force F-35 pilot instructor, Major Justin “Hasard” Lee.
Lee has nearly 400 hours of combat flight time at the stick of an F-16. Now he spends his days teaching the next generation of pilots how to fly the world’s most advanced fighter, along with hosting the popular podcast, “The Professionals Playbook.”
Hollings and Lee discuss what sets the F-35 apart from other military aircraft, and how the presence of the advanced fighter can even make older jets better in a fight. Then Hollings gets to the really important stuff… like what a real fighter pilot thinks of the movie “Iron Eagle.”
