The Video of the Week: The moment a former Navy SEAL gets shot by an ISIS sniper

The video found below shows three Americans working in a humanitarian support role for the Iraqi Army during the Battle of Mosul in 2017. The three men stormed forward in order to rescue a little girl and two men who had survived a mass-execution by ISIS fighters. They did so with only an Iraqi M1A1 Abrams tank and a smokescreen as their cover.

Ephraim Mattos, sporting the fixed-butt AK and backwards ballcap, is a former Navy SEAL and CEO of Stronghold Rescue & Relief. He was shot in the leg as they were egressing.
