In a war with no front lines, why do we keep acting like combat and the rear are different enough that those in the latter need not be armed?

CSAR1 Personally, I prefer the term "intellectual rectum", it makes me sound smarter than I really am. :-)

Cool, there is lot of sarcasm here so I always ask. I guess we can be friends, now that we know we are both smartalics. lol See at the next posting.

This very well could be the only good thing to come out of this absolutely horrific massacre. Let's hope that it is true that one of the Marines had the means to try to defend himself and his comrades from this monster. That would have been better than just "hunkering down" (what their commanding officer said that they did) helplessly and waiting for the monster to come for them. Let's also hope that after this horrific tragedy, that every single United States soldier, Marine, sailor, airman, and Coast Guardsman will be legally allowed the means to defend themselves and their comrades on all military installations.

This is so sad.
I have a question regarding the "Clinton Act" though: I read that the directive was signed in February 1992 by Donald Atwood under G.H.W. Bush: http://www.dtic.mil/dtic/tr...
Is there another act by Clinton I am not aware of? Many thanks!
