During our time at the 2017 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market we took a look at the Nemo Equipment booth. While we were waiting for our meeting to begin they had samples of their minimalist Ditto wallet on the counter free for attendees to take. While these are not the primary products that Nemo focuses on, they make these from manufacturing seconds of their tent material. Instead of disposing of the left over material they use it to make these wallets; pretty cool idea to maximize the use of their tent material.
At first I was a little unsure of the unique design with the partial stretch cover, but I wanted to give it a chance. I’ve been carrying mine for about a week now and needless to say it’s growing on me. The partial stretch cover works flawlessly after you get a few repetitions under your belt. One cool thing about this wallet and other minimalist wallets is that you are forced to only carry whats absolutely needed.
From the Nemo Equipment website:
Ditto™ Wallets keep your cash and cards secure when you’re on the move. Ditto™ Slim Wallet is a minimalist two sided sleeve design that keeps contents secure with a partial stretch cover. Upcycled materials from manufacturing seconds are donated by NEMO’s tent material suppliers.
MSRP is $16.95 direct from the Nemo Equipment website.
